About Hotel Calypso

Hotel Calypso is a family hotel located in the village of Matala, where the hippies once found their paradise in the nearby caves. Have a relaxing and pleasant stay at a hotel with beautiful green surroundings and enjoy the numerous sports activities and entertainment options.

Our hotel was built in 1992 and it was recently renovated.

Since 2007 we have twelve (12) more beautiful rooms, which are perfect for families and couples. Our hotel has fifty (50) wonderful rooms with air conditioning, safe, refrigerator, TV, free Internet and a comfortable veranda, where you can enjoy your breakfast. A fun playground also awaits our young guests. Our hotel amenities include an Internet hall, a gym, a swimming pool and a spacious parking lot.

You can also relax and enjoy your drink at the hotel bar.

The hotel is just a short walk from the beach, where you can find shops and restaurants.

The Heraklion International Airport is 60 km away; shuttle service is available upon request.
